Who We Are: Our Mission
At DiscipleStudy.net we are dedicated to creating a transformative Bible study experience that fosters deep spiritual growth and community learning. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and accessible resources that guide individuals and small groups in exploring the depths of Scripture.
What We Believe
The Bible, from the book of Genesis through Revelation, is the Word of God, fully inspired by Him. It is the sufficient and definitive guide regarding our understanding of God, mankind, our world, and faith.
The Word of God reveals that there is only one God who, inexplicably but beautifully, exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus, the Messiah (Christ) and Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit in a virgin; He is fully human, yet also fully God. He lived a perfect human life, without the sin nature, yet took on the sinful flesh as the perfect and final sacrifice for the sins of all humanity. He was crucified, died and resurrected bodily to accomplish God’s plan of redeeming all who would believe in him and confess Him as Lord.
Salvation from the judgement and slavery of sin and the gift of eternal life is solely by faith in Jesus Christ, who loved us and purchased us back to relationship with God by His precious blood. It is not by any works of righteousness or religious activity but by grace alone, a gift from God. Such faith causes persons to be spiritually reborn, upon repentance, belief and of receiving Him through the Holy Spirit.
The church, as the Body of Christ, is composed of all believers across time and space, who have been genuinely born of the Spirit into the family of God. God’s fullest expression and joy, and the believers’ fullest experience of both are found in and through this sacred community.
